The first picture is a shot from when the circus came to town. That was a pretty fun night. There was a magician, acrobatics, a man who put swords down his throat, and a man who danced with fire. The only down side to the experience was watching from beneath a tree in which birds successfully made us targets for their droppings.
The second picture is of the typical evening meal. Parathas (parottas) with korma and bananas. Delicious! I will miss it sorely some day.

Again, Priya and Edwin. Each night the veranda becomes the homework spot for dozens of village kids. However, on the nights when the electric current goes out, studying takes place by candle light, and the village kids take off early. Edwin and Priya are really smart and have some challenging homework that I often can't do!
