Many in this nation recognize the 14th of February as being Valentine's Day. While I acknowledge that this day is thus observed, my celebrations on the 14th of February are otherwise directed. Arizona, my home sweet home, became a state on February 14, 1912. So as you think of Valentine's Day, show some love for Arizona by remembering Arizona Statehood Day. Thank you.
